The first project we used the software on was The London Wall Project naturally based in the UK. This project was only started a few short weeks ago but already we are well ahead of the program. The project core walls are slip-formed with traditional reinforcing steel. Starter boxes are utilised for the tie-ins to slabs and beams. Much of the decks are PT. Crucially detailing needs to be right on a slip-form. There is no margin for error.

RGS-REBAR software easily generates understandable graphical instructions for cutting, bending & fixing the bar. Since the instructions are pictorial, the bar cutters & benders understand the instructions easily and work accordingly. It is very easy to control the placing. It is good for the contractors to pay extra money for saving the steel, rather than continuing the rebar cutting & blending in the same old traditional way. Saving 10% of steel in a project.
